Regardless of how much time you wish to dedicate to volunteering or how much experience you have working with an organisation, there are always a wealth of opportunities available. What To Expect
When volunteering with Change Ur Life, you can expect the following, just to name a few:
- A face-to-face induction with an experienced team member who will run through development opportunities
- Regular catch-ups with senior members to discuss your volunteering, ways to develop and any difficulties you may be experiencing
- The chance to brainstorm fundraising and event ideas with volunteers, employees, management and sponsors
- Training opportunities to further expand your knowledge and skillset in the organisation
- Peace of mind that you are in a safe environment and are protected while working with Change Ur Life
What We Ask
Although your responsibilities as a volunteer will always be discussed face-to-face, as a volunteer, we will ask the following from you:
- Maintain an honest, friendly and non-judgemental approach
- Ensure that you follow all policies and standards, including safeguarding principles, working within the boundaries of your role
- Keep all organisation and client information confidential – you will be provided with a data protection process with more information on this
- Stay updated with any information regarding your role including attending meetings and maintaining communication
